The Office for Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is responsible for overseeing the areas of Assessment, Accreditation, and Accountability (compliance) as well as assisting key departments on campus with regard to these areas. The OIE also assists and supports the President’s Cabinet in coordinating campus-wide planning.
The Office for Institutional Effectiveness exists to coordinate all research and assessment activities on campus with the goal of institutional renewal. These activities include all aspects of research and assessment on campus at all educational levels, including assessment at the institutional-level, within academic programs, within academic support units, and within student support units.
Recognizing the importance of planning, Lancaster Bible College is committed to a planning process that is cyclical, consistent, comprehensive, and current. The purpose of planning is to help LBC remain grounded in her mission, effective in its implementation, all the while being prepared to respond to her internal and external environments.

The Office for Institutional Effectiveness oversees all research activities on campus, which includes research generated all LBC departments, research conducted by our students as part of their educational requirements, and research conducted by outside individuals or organizations which involves our students, faculty or staff members.
